Jorge works a dull office job and spends most of his time gossiping with his lonely best friend. He tries to navigate the world of dating men, while she deals with cruelty from the cafeteria ladies and has no hope of finding a guy for herself. Most of this movie is spent watching as Jorge tries to make it work with one guy or another, but there’s no introspection on his part about intimacy issues or setting goals, while the guys are rarely scary or funny enough to be worthy of a scene in a movie, mostly they’re just bad fits. By the time you get to the ending, which plucks a solution out of nowhere, you might give up on humanity as this film is so poorly directed, written, acted and shot that it’s impossible to accept the fact that anyone thought it was worth releasing.
