A shaggy, unkempt man lives in his wreck of a car, seemingly homeless and without any possessions to his name.  When he gets news about a tragedy from his past coming back into the world, he hits the road with provisions he has been storing up, seeking vengeance for a past wrong that then places him in the centre of a storm when he needs to deal with more than just the person he was looking for.  Pretty soon his sister is in hiding and he is asking friends for guns as he looks to settle a score in a film that combines Red Road with High Noon for maximum intensity and excitement.  The beautiful cinematography and stylish direction are just two more of the pleasures of this sleeper hit that makes an impression on all counts.
