Sandra Bullock is a computer hacker who accidentally stumbles upon sensitive information related to information terrorists trying to undermine the American government. She’s also once again a lonely, fuzzy-loveable girl who lives with a cat. Once she’s targeted by an charming assassin (Jeremy Northam) and decides to run, she finds herself without an identity thanks to her entire life having been erased from known official record. Made to capitalize on the growing paranoia over the internet being on the brink of becoming a household item when the film was released, this silly thriller now seems dated and simplistic, and Bullock herself has gone on to far greater accomplishments.
