Three stressed out city company men and age-old friends (, , ) decide that the perfect way to ease up their workload is a paid Wild West vacation on a cattle ranch. Once there they learn the age-old technique of cattle-herding from a wise cowboy (Jack Palance) who also manages to teach them a thing or two about life. This hysterical comedy is enjoyable and good-natured, nothing spectacular but a fun time for anyone who watches it. The performances all sparkle, especially Palance’s wild old curmudgeon who never seems to run out of valuable advice or tall tales.
