This exciting adventure stars Christian Slater and John Travolta as bomber pilots whose flying mission goes awry and the top-secret weapons they are carrying go missing. Or do they? It seems Travolta might not be the good guy we all thought he was, and having been passed over for a recent job advance has angered him enough to take the nuclear weapons hostage. Now Slater’s got a limited amount of time to save the bombs, the girl (Samantha Mathis) and the world before Travolta tries to blow everything up. Loads of fun, energetically directed by John Woo (and not as overdone as his next year’s Face/Off would be), and benefiting from committed performances.
