Following the crossover success of Rumble In The Bronx, a number of ‘s Hong Kong hits were dubbed and re-edited for American release, with this one being one of the most popular. Chan plays a Hong Kong “supercop” who is sent undercover to China to team up with a highly skilled army officer () and infiltrate a notorious drug ring. The two pretend to be brother and sister and get close to the bad guys, a cover that is in serious trouble when they end up at the same Malaysian resort as Chan’s clueless girlfriend (). Light and frothy, the film is delightfully fun and features some exceptional stunt work in the action scenes by the two fantastic stars.
