Following the crossover success of Rumble In The Bronx, a number of‘s Hong Kong hits were dubbed and re-edited for American release, with this one being one of the most popular. Chan plays a Hong Kong “supercop” who is sent undercover to China to team up with a highly skilled army officer ( ) and infiltrate a notorious drug ring. The two pretend to be brother and sister and get close to the bad guys, a cover that is in serious trouble when they end up at the same Malaysian resort as Chan’s clueless girlfriend ( ). Light and frothy, the film is delightfully fun and features some exceptional stunt work in the action scenes by the two fantastic stars.
