Confusing but enjoyable fairy tale about a daydreaming housewife (the exciting Cecilia Roth) whose desire to have a more interesting life has her telling lies to the audience about what’s really happening to her. We find out that her husband has been kidnapped, and she decides to go after him when she teams up with a distinguished older gentleman and a hot young stud who takes a liking to her. There are chases and shootouts, her hair colour keeps changing and the narrative runs in veritable circles until we discover the true meaning behind all the illusions. It’s a lot of fun and Roth is incredibly watchable.
