Married couple Ingrid Bergman and George Sanders have come to the decision to split up, but before doing so take a trip to Naples in order to settle a family estate that he has inherited from a late uncle. While there, they experience a whole dollop of zesty Italian life thanks to the socialites around them, and before they know it, their passion for each other is threatening to be rekindled. Bergman is lovely, Sanders is charismatic, but I prefer them both in many other films. This was one of the European projects that Bergman worked on during her time of exile from the United States.
