True story of a young man obsessed with poisoning the innocent people who share his everyday life. The film starts off brilliant and quick-witted, detailing every moment of this wacky sociopath’s habits, which include a penchant for keeping records of all the poisons he doles out, and to whom. Unfortunately, the feeling of being in the first act never seems to end, leaving you feeling like you’re being dragged towards the ever-distant finale. A central performance by Hugh O’Conor is definitely a positive selling point here, but the film he’s in is a giant dud.
