In this delightful sequel to the equally fun original, little spies Carmen and Juni find themselves trapped on an island with a mad scientist who may or may not be out to destroy their entire secret spy-ring operation. Their foils are another pair of spy kids who seem to always be a step ahead of them no matter where they go, plus are always equipped with better weapons, but our heroes know that nothing takes you further than a strong tactical mind and a solid sense of humorous whimsy. Antonio Banderas and are again on hand as the hapless parents who need to help their kids out of their sticky situation, and Robert Rodriguez has infused even more imagination and action into the sequel than was featured in the original. It’s a great time for the kids, a cute story that avoids bloody violence in favour of totally child-friendly weapons and cartoonishly messed up villains. The cast, including new addition , have a marvelous time with the material.
