Listless film that explores the sexual life of a garbage collector in modern day Portugal. A young, unexpressive teenager has one random sexual encounter after another with odd strangers and equally inexpressive men, while the director behind the camera does very little to tell an actual story. What this boy learns from his experiences, what it does for him internally or otherwise is completely ignored, instead focusing on endless scenes of genuine explicit material and a plot change in the third act that makes absolutely no sense. If you find the images titillating then by all means, be my guest, but don’t expect much out of it.
