After the success of Journey To The Center Of The Earth, another adaptation of a famous science-fiction novel follows, based on the story by H.G. Wells.   plays an impatient scientist who makes an important discovery in his field of study, time travel. Creating a machine that can transport him either backwards or forwards through time, he goes hundreds of thousands of years into the future where he encounters a reborn Earth populated by two very different races of people. One is the peaceful, ignorant (and totally blonde) Eloi, the other an evil race known as Morlocks, who use the Eloi for food and labour on a regular basis. Taylor helps the Eloi defeat their enemies, enjoys romance with a young maiden () and then makes it back to his present time to tell his friends all about it. Great characters and some very creative visual effects make for a nice couple of hours in the world of classic B-movies.
