Cute but eventually pointless romantic adventure about a Transylvanian vampire named Karmina, who escapes an arranged marriage and ventures to Montreal to live with her aunt (France Castel) and search for true love. Her aunt has found a way to live within society as a seemingly normal human, and shows Karmina how to do the same. Eventually her family from back home catch up to her and she has to own up to her responsibility to them as well as be honest to the man she’s recently fallen in love with. Fun makeup effects and crazy costumes pepper the experience with dashes of fun, while Isabelle Cyr‘s performance is a real charmer. Beware the badly dubbed English-language version.
