Adorable romantic comedy that was a huge hit among teenagers and made a star of its beautiful lead actress Minnie Driver. She plays a self-effacing Irish lass who would never dream that the cutest boy on the football team (Chris O’Donnell) would ever look her way. She has no idea, however, that he’s been keen on her from day one. Unfortunately, the schemes of jealous rival Saffron Burrows threaten to tear the whole thing apart. You might think you’ve seen it all, but this film has a lot of genuine feeling to it that keeps it from being painfully cliched.
