This sweet little indie film has no groundbreaking story to tell, but its emotions are real and its characters are instantly likable. Mark is an artist and political activist who is HIV positive and uses his work to express his feelings about it. His boyfriend Joey is a garbage collector (who loves his job) who is searching for his biological parents after his coming out doesn’t thrill his adoptive ones. The two of them go through many of life’s adventures, some painful and some not as much, coming to the conclusion that despite everything that besets them, they are a happy couple. It has wit, it has wisdom, and it leaves you with a good feeling and a few things to ponder.
