Hilarious high school comedy has delightful, bubbly L.A. blondes Romy and Michele (Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow) get invited to their ten-year high school reunion in Tucson, Arizona. They ruminate over past painful experiences at the hands of evil cheerleaders until they realize that they can’t go back unless they have something really impressive to show their old rivals. Dressing up as businesswomen and pretending they invented Post-Its, the gals drive to the reunion thinking they’ve got a fool-proof plan. Featuring a great selection of eighties songs and an unfortunately overlong dream sequence, this film is no classic but its two fantastic stars make it worth enjoying again and again.
