My Old Addiction

Movie Reviews By Bil Antoniou

Charlie’s Angels

(out of 5)

You’re not likely to have more fun at the movies than seeing this excellent update of the popular late-seventies television show.   produces and leads a fantastic cast of sexy babes (, ), impressive villains (, ) and comic relief (, ), all of them ably directed by newcomer McG (I don’t know why the director has a fast-food special for a name either). The tongue-in-cheek humour is kept perfectly in balance with the amazing martial arts fight scenes (which are truly amazing) and the pace is kept clipping away without missing a beat (great soundtrack to accompany it too!).
