Boring, romantic hodgepodge about an eager scientist (Mel Gibson) in the 1940s who can’t face the impending death of his beloved (Isabel Glasser) after she is hit by a car. He decides that the cryogenic experiments he has been working on should be performed on him, and so freezes himself for decades until thawed in present day and unleashed upon the world with only his big blue eyes and sentimental dialogue to aid him. He befriends a bewildered ‘modern woman’ (Jamie Lee Curtis) who helps him adjust to his new time period and discover the answers to some unsolved mysteries of his past. Hokey and dull, completed by a ludicrously cheesy ending.
