A shy, sweet actress (Marie Brassard) is cast in a film that depicts a real-life, unsolved murder. Unbeknownst to her, a neighbour living close by was the ex-boyfriend of the real victim and still a suspect, awaiting the outcome of his polygraph test. The interactions and revelations in this film are interesting, but filmmaker Robert Lepage hasn’t fully repeated his success from the sensational Le Confessionnal with this complex thriller.
