This extremely odd film will have very little appeal for mass audiences. It tells the surreal memoir of a boy growing up in Montreal who sincerely believes that he is the son of a tomato that was fertilized by a horny Sicilian. Some moments are unswervingly funny, while others are completely unappetizing (like for instance, the part where a bunch of young boys rape a cat).
