Strange little cult film about the effect of alien intelligence on a piece of moussaka left in the middle of a field by a mischievous boy. The moussaka becomes as large as a building and roams the city killing people everywhere, sparking the fear of the town as Athens goes haywire. At the centre of the drama is a drag queen desperate to be a character out of an Almodovar film who gets hot over an astronomer, and a bored politician’s wife on a mission of self-destruction. It’s pretty terrible, cheaply made and badly acted, but bad enough to be fun to watch, plus it has a lip-synch number.
