Unmitigated garbage about a cop (Murray Langston) who is assigned to night patrol, a gig that conflicts with his sideline career as a stand-up comic with a paper bag over his head (Paulsen actually had a career as The Unknown Comic outside of films). There’s just no point in going into further details; the jokes are never funny, or even the slightest bit clever, the humour is often the lowest of 1980s offensive crap, and Langston doesn’t even try to look embarrassed. There’s a reason why he spends half the movie with his face covered.
