Ron Livingston plays a disgruntled office worker goes to occupational therapy and finds himself stuck in a completely stress-free state of mind when his hypnotist dies in the middle of the session. Now that he can approach his work with more soundness in mind and body, our hero can handle such things as oppressive cubicle walls, annoying receptionists, tight-ass efficiency experts and ill-mannered fax machines with much more finesse. Jennifer Aniston plays his adorable girlfriend in this hilarious comedy that is perfect for anyone who has ever wanted to commit murder over the annoying aspects of office politics. Director Mike Judge adapted the screenplay from his own comic strip “Milton”, whose lead character has a side plot in this very acerbic comedy. Not for all tastes, but definitely will give any audience a fair share of laughs.
