My Old Addiction

Movie Reviews By Bil Antoniou

Curly Sue

B

(out of 5)

is unemployed and a father who, along with his precocious little girl, turns to con artistry to get by. When he and the tyke fake a car accident with a swanky lawyer () to cash in on some guilt money, they all end up taking a liking to each other. It’s not hard to see where it goes from there, but it’s also not in any way enjoyable either. The humour is annoying, the little girl’s antics merely a collection of strained facial expressions, and the two leads have no chemistry between them. All in all, a complete waste of time.
