So-so emotional thriller stars Jack Nicholson and Judy Davis as a Florida wine merchant and his unsuspecting wife who has no idea that her husband and a small-time hood (Michael Caine) are planning the jewel robbery of one of his richest clients. Jennifer Lopez probably has the film’s best moments as their son’s girlfriend, a good girl who gets in the way of the deal and threatens to blow the whole thing up. The film is laden with heavy atmosphere thanks to its stars, but the plot isn’t conceived all that well and isn’t the brilliant twister that it wants to be. Not really worth the bother unless you’re a big fan of the cast.
