BBBB
(out of 5)
Sort of a sexy Lost In Translation, about two men who meet at a club, spend the night together, and spend the rest of a lazy weekend trying to avoid discovering a genuine bond that is growing between them. Tom Cullen and Chris New are both excellent in the lead roles as two guys trying so hard to give themselves over physically while remaining emotionally distant, but it is impossible for them to have conversations about their lives, their politics and their past without finding that they have a genuine connection. What a shame, then, that New is determined not to have a boyfriend, and has already made plans to move to the United States…the next day. It’s got a wonderful low-burn intensity, and it’s sexy as hell.

A very beautiful movie that was universal in its themes of longing and acceptance.
