Cheesy teen flick that tries to cash in on the success of Wes Craven’s hit horror film Scream has a group of teenagers accidentally run over a wayward fisherman one night after a big party, then dump the body and hope no one ever finds out about it. One year later, the kiddies start to receive threatening notes and dangerous signs that seem to be coming from the victim himself. Could he have survived being pummelled by a car full of drunk teens? Can anyone survive watching this annoying film? Naturally, the kids get sliced and diced one by one, until finally heroine Jennifer Love Hewitt is left to defend her dorky boyfriend (Freddie Prinze Jr.) and protect herself from this evil maniac. Anne Heche has a hilarious cameo as a backwoods freak who provides the film with one of its biggest scares.
