Vice-Versa

BB.5

(out of 5)

At some point in the late eighties, one screenplay got made into about seven different films. Between Vice Versa, 18 Again, etc. there really doesn’t seem to be any way to tell the difference (Big was the only film of this ilk to show any signs of originality and freshness). Here, the silliness begins when a mysterious Asian skull switches the souls of an overworked father () and his delinquent son (). Now the father has to go through the rigours of grammar school one more time, while his son must navigate the world of finance. Lots of silly humour, and none of it is inspired.
