A young man aspiring to be the Swiss Eminem wastes his talents on drugs and partying, alienating his much older producer boyfriend until he lands himself in rehab. When he gets cleaned up and is released following a near-death experience, he discovers that his younger brother has replaced him in both the studio and his bed, forcing him onto a path of even further self-discovery; what he discovers, however, is barely interesting in this dry, monotonous film. The performances are great, but the storytelling is minimal and the characters do very little to gain your sympathy (or, for that matter, your attention), leaving a film that passes before you without barely registering. Great soundtrack, though.
