Paola Di Florio follows the enigmatic, extremely talented concert violinist Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg with her camera and gives us a fascinating look into the life of a musical genius. Salerno-Sonnenberg (who is a childhood friend of Di Florio’s) is a woman who lives even more intensely than she plays, and through interviews with her and her family we are completely drawn into her very interesting life. On top of that, we are treated to a whole bevy of wonderful concert performances that feature this mysterious genius doing the often controversial playing that has made her famous around the world. Unconventional and indescribable, Salerno-Sonnenberg’s story is one that you won’t want to miss.
