USA, 1984. City Films, Golan-Globus Productions. Screenplay by John Derek. Cinematography by John Derek. Produced by Bo Derek. Music by Peter Bernstein. Production Design by Alan Roderick-Jones. Costume Design by Tony Pueo, Sally Turner.
Bo Derek is unintentionally hilarious as an heiress who travels around the world looking for a good lay. The more she travels, the more she is ‘awakened’ to her sexuality, at one point being so powerful that she cures a paralyzed man with her awesome hip gyrations.
Derek’s husband John directed this stupid farce of a movie, a plotless wonder that is only for diehard fans of cheesy soft-core porn, and she won one of her many Razzie Awards for it.
Not to be confused with the 1982 film Bolero by Claude Lelouch, which is now more often known under its original French title Les Uns Et Les Autres.
