Of Human Bondage

BBB

(out of 5)

Dramatic adaptation of F. Somerset Maugham’s depressing novel about the love affair between a poor waif ( in her first explosive role) and a shy, sensitive medical student (). Of course, the moment he gives in to passion she makes his life a living hell. Sometimes boring, but the performances by the leads are the best reason to watch this film.
