What do you do when audiences spend over a hundred million dollars watching a kid get abandoned at home? Abandon him again! In this delightful sequel to 1990’s blockbuster original, Macaulay Culkin once again gets separated from his parents when he gets on the wrong airplane and ends up in the Big Apple. Somehow, he once again runs into the two bumbling crooks (Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern) who tried to rob him the first time. The producers find new ways to have the same kind of fun, and the result is surprisingly memorable and worthwhile. Catherine O’Hara lends her terrific support, reprising her role as Culkin’s bewildered mother.
