Enjoyable astronaut drama that goes in The Crew territory of watching old guys ham it up for laughs, but much more effectively. Clint Eastwood directs a great round-up of geriatric talent including James Garner, Donald Sutherland and Tommy Lee Jones as retired astronauts who are required by NASA to go into outer space for the first time to fix a satellite that dates back to their era. James Cromwell is the crooked mission director who prevented them from going the first time around in their youth, and Marcia Gay Harden is excellent (though badly coiffed) as the kind-hearted NASA executive who makes sure everything goes well for the old boys.
