Imaginative, fun martial arts film involves whimsy, imagination and dangerous stunts, little inspiration but lots of energy. A soft-spoken student takes refuge in a Buddhist monastery and falls in love with a spirit who lives there. She turns out not to be all that she seems, but as you can guess from the bland title (in English, at least), this film offers few surprises to its audience. Still, martial arts fans will get a kick out of the colourful photography and elaborate fight sequences.
