Big-screen adaptation of the popular television show has nothing new to offer from its small screen counterpart except what a bigger budget affords. That said, it’s coming from a very good and very exciting show full of episodes that each easily make a good movie anyway, so missing the film would not be wise. David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are once again the untouchable agents investigating paranormal activity when they start to suspect a conspiracy is trying to cover up a dirty deal between humans and aliens. Trust me, when you see it, you’ll believe it too. Around the world locales and exotic set pieces help make this worthwhile viewing, despite the fact that it quite obviously rips off plot lines from other films (most notably Alien).
