Throwback to wartime musicals stars Betty Grable as a USO entertainer who is reunited with the man she turned down years before. The usual complications in these backstage melodramas ensues, scored beautifully and performed with exceptional vigour by Grable and Dan Dailey. One of the leggy superstar’s better films.
