Another mundane Jet Li movie with a tired premise and even more tired execution. Jason Statham plays a (what else?) grizzled cop whose partner is killed, execution style, along with his wife and child by an evil hit man known only as Rogue (Li). Three years after the murders, Statham picks up Rogue’s lead and decides to follow it in order to finally get justice for what happened to his friends. He unwittingly also enters a gang war between Chinese triad mobsters and Japanese Yakuza that could make things more than a little bit complicated for him. Fans of the stylized fighting and explosions will enjoy passing the time away with this uninspired piece of crap.
