Alternate title: Some Like It Hot
Bob Hope‘s comedic abilities are the only thing worth taking fom this middling musical comedy. Originally titled Some Like It Hot but now retitled on video so as to not be confused with the Billy Wilder classic, it features Hope as a worthless show business promoter who sees Gene Krupa‘s band as his ticket to fame. Unfortunately, his luck is constantly down, even when his wit is not, and his friends leave him quickly when he disappoints them. It’s only an hour long, but it manages to squeeze in a few good songs amid the funny jokes.
