The creators of Airplane and The Naked Gun movies are back with another hilarious film spoof. This one features well-intentioned satire of gung-ho action movies like Top Gun, with a cheerful Charlie Sheen playing a cocky young pilot who escaped a previous mission failure by going to live among natives a la Dances With Wolves. Now that he has returned, he is stationed on the S.S. Essess and is awaiting his instructions to go and destroy Saddam Hussein’s nuclear plants. Will he able to accomplish this task, or will his psychological imbalance impede him once again? His rivalry with fellow pilot Cary Elwes over the lovely Valeria Golino (whose scene singing a Michelle Pfeiffer-Fabulous Baker Boys-esque number is a riot) get in the way? It’s for you to find out, and enjoy a whole slew of cheap laughs along the way!
