Enjoyable though dated romance, about a gay man and a lesbian woman who leave their abusive relationships and find love with each other. Once their relationship gets serious, they turn into an average married couple until he starts philandering around on her (with a woman, for some reason).
That these two would find romance with each other isn’t all that unbelievable despite its un-PCness, for who among us can really categorize the human soul, but the final third of the story turns them into boring straight people, and that is both unforgivable and offensive. Perry King and Meg Foster both give great performances, and their chemistry is friendly and familiar enough to engage even the most casual viewer.
